I’m Monica, owner of The Pinche Collective. For 20+ years, I was deep in the car biz crunching numbers—until COVID pushed me into a new lane. I apprenticed, got Luminary certified, and now nerd out on continuing education every year. I’m Gen-X, which means I get what it’s like to want nails that fit your vibe and last through real life.
When I’m not in the studio, I’m hanging with my husband, three dogs, and our last kiddo still at home (after raising five!). I know firsthand how busy life can get, which is why I believe your nail appointment should feel like time for you—a mix of self-care, creativity, and connection. So whether you’re here for a clean structured gel or bold hand-painted art, I’ve got you!

I recently graduated Cameo College and am now licensed and working at the pinche collective in Salt Lake City 3 days a week! I started doing my nails in 2022 and started officially learning the end of 2023 but took a break and came back in February 2026. So I have been doing nails for a while! I specialize in natural nail enhancements, using my favorite structured gel to keep the length nice and strong. Most of my clients are natural nail baddies and love a simple French tip, but I’m open to different ideas and nail art so I can learn more!🥰
A little get to know me personally - I work in payroll full time!😅 I love to go camping or go to lowrider activities on the weekends. I’m also a water baby or a fish if you will!! Catch me in a lake or a pool as much as I can be. I also love Lagoon and the Hogle Zoo! AND I love chill weekends running errands! I’m mostly introverted but can be an extrovert when needed, I think that’s the Gemini in me!😅 My music taste is all over the place.. one minute I’m listening to oldies the next I’m listening to 80-90s R&B, Rap, Folk, Country, Pop, Mexican Music (no I don’t even speak Spanish, idk)! Who knows with me!🤣
